September is Lovely Beach Time!

Eleven Months
September 11 - Bath Time Fun Time!
This month Chloe has been having a ball with her bath toys.
She also loves to stand up in the tub - maybe she's a shower girl instead??
She's been crawling all over, laughing and reaching for Brody, and even standing on her own at times.
No first steps yet, but it probably won't be long!
She's been enjoying more solid foods, like pasta, veggies, fruits, pancakes, eggs, chicken and yogurt.
Also getting lots of practice with the sippy cup, she's moving right along :)
Hard to believe 12 months is just around the corner- fastest year of our life, indeed!!

Fun things she's been up to this past month -
Crawling! Been pulling up for a while, but finally decided to give crawling a try :)
She's a champ at eating Puffs, and has now decided to enjoy trying other solid foods, too.
Macaroni salad is one of her favorites, along with lots of blueberries and strawberries.

I guess I'll try crawling after all...
Chloe had a special note on her report card today - crawling! We assumed she was going to skip it, since she's never shown much interest. She's been pulling up for a couple weeks now, and cruising in her play area, but no crawling. Obviously something changed her mind today, and she figured it out. Yay, Chloe!
Spaghetti!
Visiting with the Behms, Chloe had her first encounter with spaghetti. Fun and messy times, for sure. Poppy stood by, happy to perform clean up duties. Great idea from Melissa to strip her down to the diaper to facilitate the post-meal wipe down!
